10 ounces pork loin, cut into strips
1 teaspoon Chinese 5-spice powder
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons honey
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (or more, to taste)
1-inch knob of ginger, grated
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 red bell pepper, chopped
4 ounces snow peas
4 ounces button mushrooms, chopped
1 large carrot, peeled and grated
5 ounces dry rice noodles
sesame seeds, for serving
1. Add the pork strips to a bowl and sprinkle over the Chinese 5-spice. Mix well to coat the pork and set aside.
2. Mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl.
3. Heat a wok on a medium-high temperature and spray with a little cooking spray. Fry the pork until cooked through, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
5. Add the red pepper, snow peas, mushrooms, and carrot. Cook for another few minutes, stirring frequently until
slightly softened.
6. Pour over the sauce and cook for a final couple of minutes.
